From timber to living room

How a Davorel is made.

Every sofa passes through the same handful of careful hands before it reaches your door.

Selecting the timber

It starts with wood we can stand behind: imported Red Oak for indoor pieces, dense Iroko 'African Teak' for outdoor. Each length is chosen for its strength and grain.

Building the base

The sculpted external frame is cut, shaped and joined by hand — the structural signature that every cushion sits on.

Shaping the comfort

High-definition foam is wrapped and shaped for support that stays consistent from edge to edge, seat after seat.

Upholstery by hand

Premium, high-Martindale fabric is hand-cut and fitted in your chosen colour, for a soft feel and a clean, lasting finish.

Finished & delivered

Every piece is checked by hand, made to order, and delivered to your door — ready to be rearranged however you live.
